Community Involvement

At our Boardman Subaru, we get to know more and more people from our Boardman, OH area community every day. And of course, we ourselves are proud members of this community. And as such, we are always looking for ways to help to help serve our community in the biggest, most impactful way possible. This page is dedicated to those efforts.

Boardman Civic Association

Congratulations to Owner, Rob Fellman for being voted Business Person of the Year by the Boardman Civic Association

Akron Children's Hospital

Boardman Subaru and Akron Children's Hospital have a long standing partnership. For the last 6 years, we have selected Akron Children's Hospital as our Hometown Charity for Share the Love event. The program has raised over $100,000! We have also partnered with them for Subaru Loves to Care, donating blankets, arts & crafts kits, and messages of hope from our customers. In 2017, Akron Children's Hospital of Boardman named their newly renovated waiting room after Boardman Subaru and owners, Rob and Cathy Fellman.

Meals on Wheels

Boardman Subaru has worked with the Youngstown Chapter of Meals on Wheels during our annual Share the Love Event for the last 5 years. In addition to raising money through donations, Boardman Subaru employees have helped deliver meals during the holiday season each year!

Boardman Local Schools

Boardman Subaru has worked with Boardman Glenwood Middle School on our Subaru Loves Learning and Subaru Loves Earth Events. During Subaru Loves Learning, we donate award-winning science books to students along with positive notes from our customers. During Subaru Loves Earth 2016, we donated natural wildlife habitat supplies for the Glenwood Middle School Courtyard, while Owner, Rob Fellman and Sales Manager, Tug Sanner helped the students set it up.

Boardman Park

Boardman Subaru Has Partnered with Boardman Park for the last 4 years to attend and sponsor their Outdoor Family Fun Day and Independence Day Celebrations. Lucy, a Boardman Subaru Employee's Golden Retriever, has been a fan favorite at these events.

Mill Creek Park

During Subaru Loves Earth 2017, Boardman Subaru proudly sponsored Mill Creek Park's annual Earth Day Park Clean-up Day.

Youngstown State University

Boardman Subaru partners with Youngstown State University's athletic department to help provide benefits, including a car, to Youngstown State Coaches.Boardman Subaru has also sponsored Youngstown State's performing arts calendar of events.

Humane Society

During Subaru Loves Pets 2017, Boardman Subaru donated New Pet Owner Kits and collected volunteer signatures and customer donations for the Humane Society and Angels for Animals.
